Last updated: 2026-09-04. This page describes what Stimulies (operator of this site) collects when you visit steam-block.stimulies.be, and what your choices are.
Analytics: off until you say otherwise
This site can use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand traffic: which pages get visited, roughly where from, and on what kind of device. No Analytics script runs, and no Analytics cookie is set, until you click Accept on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Declining, or simply not answering, means Analytics stays off; nothing changes about the site itself either way.
Your choice (accepted or declined) is remembered in your browser’s local storage, not a cookie, so making the choice itself doesn’t set anything. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.
If you do accept, Google processes the resulting data under its own terms; see Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
What else touches your browser
- Hosting logs. Like effectively every website, requests to this site pass through standard web server/CDN logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) as a normal part of serving pages. This is operational, not analytics, and isn’t used to build a profile of you.
- Demo images. Some documentation and example pages load placeholder photos from Lorem Picsum (a third-party image service) purely to illustrate the
<steam-block>component with realistic imagery. Loading an image from a third party does send your IP address and browser info to that service, the same as any embedded image would; check Lorem Picsum’s own privacy policy if you want the details on how they handle that. - No ad tracking, no social-media pixels, no fingerprinting. Nothing else on this site sets a tracking cookie or profiles visitors.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, or delete data held about you, object to or restrict its processing, or request it in a portable format. Since no personal data is collected here beyond what’s described above (and none at all unless you accepted Analytics), most requests will simply confirm that. To ask, or to raise a concern, contact Stimulies via stimulies.be.
You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority at any time.
